Seems the standard clutch on my safari isn't too happy anymore. Can anybody reccomend a decent clutch to use? I drive it on a daily bassis but it needs to be able to cope with off road duties aswell. Was considering the viper clutch on 4wdbits but don't really know to much about them? Don't really want to break the bank either (had some crazy quotes).

Seems trundles automotive sells them for $659 which is a lot better than the $1000 i was looking at forking out! How has your 4 terrain clutch been Craydiver? Is it still good to use for day to day driving?

brilliant, much easier than the old std one, withturbo, lockers and 35s, its gets some load
Felt as good as the late model 4.0 liter Manual Hilux I drove as well
Cant remember what I paid but im sure it was about 500, about 2 yrs ago
its done plenty both on and offroad, mud , big puddles etc, never missed beat with new clutch
I would put a new slave and master cly in at same time
After I installed new clutch, slave gave issues replaced that then, needed to do master a little time later, I figured new clutch showed up the other weak bits in system

Awesome mate! Thanks for your help! Will get the clutch done then see how the slave and master cylinder hold up!

The cylinder issue may be in the bleeding. Corrosion builds up at the end of the cylinders where the piston/seal doesnt wipe past, and when bled, people tend to push the piston into all the crud, which pumps bits of rust etc through the system, destroying seals.
