So after several years of cutting, grinding, welding, collecting parts and repeating this came up for a very reasonable price given the work that has gone into it. So I decided to bite the bullet and buy something so I could go wheeling again instead of just hanging out in Calebs garage making plans. Missus has been convinced this is a much better idea and will be cheaper in the long run but we shall see.
Initially had issues with the clutch vapour locking so changed to a braided hose and high temp fluid which solved that issue.
First trip out: Maratoto and the Wires Loop. Was a bloody awesome day and I couldn't have asked for a better shakedown run. Little bit of damage and some $$ and work to be thrown at it but absolutely stoked with how it goes.
