fj40 front 2 piece hangers

does any one know where i can get the leaf spring front hangers in the attached photo, or should i make them

Your money/time would be much better spent on fitting a locker.

lol already got them mate, saw those hangers on a 84 fj40 a while back on a forestry run, thought i need a set of them!

Well if you've already got lockers those floppy shackles won't help your truck, they unload on side angles and steep hills. When the axle drops down enough for them to open there isn't any down force on the wheel anyway so not going to get much more grip.

I'll have to agree with Zukmeister, they will achieve noting for you if you have lockers. Even without they will have only a marginal effect on traction but will make it scary to drive on a slope. You would be better off water ballasting your tyres....

It's for farm tractors probably not advisable on a car :)
