Hilux drive shaft from 2 piece to 1 piece

Post by catalystracing »

I have heard that you can swap out my LN107 2 piece drive shaft for one from a 2005 hilux.
Can this be done and is ok with angles etc.
Just been chasing vibrations and after replacing the center bearing recently, then having it damaged after a gnarly recovery, I thought there has to be something better than this

I have done a bit of research with MR Google and it seems it is done, but they forums were American so options they talk about were from Chevy etc.

Any input greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Anything can be done....

Imho long drive shafts need to be built heavy wall due to higher chance of have the ds drag over rocks etc and denting the tube.

My 2cs worth
