Toyota front Axles

A good question for all you devoted Toyota fans out there:
Whos broken a factory front axle and how did you do it?

Nope
Just a rear full floating axle sheared off at the flange on the hub because of a loose wheel bearing

never broken 70 series ones.. ran 37's with locker for a while.. seemed bulletproof

Me personaly none but I've been on trips where we have done hilux CV's talking to Mike suprasurf when you play in the rocks its a common thing, talking about 3-4 of them a trip

ya can see why Longs are so popular and on my wishlist
Havn't seen any cruiser breakage.... have seen one that pretzeled his drag link tho

on an obsticale that my standard Pajero drove through

Ive seen Telexs hilux do a couple - he had a lockrite in the front - one was a grenaded CV, the other was a snapped shortside axle - right against the CV - this is apparently pretty common.
this is with 35 simexs & a supercharged lexus though...

I've only blown one in mine wasn'r doing anything spectacular at the time either

, been running a supra for nearly 3 years on lockrites and 35's, expect to have more problems having now fitted a marlin crawler

.....saving for some cromoly longfields

.....but mrs keeps eating into savings

Yeah I want to get 30 spline longfields but they dont do a axle for a 70 series cruiser.
