Well I was going to work.... being a self employed contractor and all... who won't get paid to have the day off... and won't be able to pay the fuel bill because he won't have any money...

... but OK. I'll go. I'll see if the handbrake can be let off too.

But I do request that someone arranges access through Terawhiti so that we can make it a one way trip, starting at Red Rocks and going out through Terawhiti. It is going to be low tide at 12:44 NZST in Wgtn (which makes it 13:44 with daylight savings), plus 1hr 13mins at Cape Terawhiti... making it 14:............... ahhhh bugger it... that would be too late.... and it would cost $20 to dash through Terawhiti to get home at a reasonable time for the kids.

Anyway, I'll be there!

If people are keen I can arrange access thru Terawhiti...will confirm....assuming people want to play in the bogs.....

2 Nissans + the other trucks should be enough to extract Mr O's beached mini truckie whale`ette.

Hey i would come and join you but the rangie has developed a low oil pressure problem, seems like all I've done is fix it this last few months!! I know you will all say - typical landrover stuff - but it is usually very reliable!

I'll see if MarkR is coming...

Have fun anywayif i dont make it!

Have you looked underneath for a big puddle of Oil? ...... hopefully no-one makes any smartass comments about the Landrover reliability.....     you could scoop it up and tip it back in the top bit again.

I dunno.....the fishing thing sounded kinda cool! Keen to do Terawhiti if that is on though. I guess it depends on weather, but me and Mark and the kiddies and the whale are happy just to do whatever! Might be bringing Marks brother and his wife too. They have a SWB pajero. She is 30 weeks pregnant so if we go too bumpy I hope someone knows how to do some serious hand squeezing and say "PUSSSHHHHHH!!"
