5.29 diff install into gen 2, 3ltr pajeros.

ive just installed my 5.29 diffs from a 2.5 diesel into my 3ltr v6 petrol. as they are from a diesel the front diff is the smaller one. now if you plan on doing the swap, make sure you get the front drive shaft aswell because it is longer. i didnt notice untill i was doing my final check before the test drive, but i had kept it when i striped the doner truck. just thought id mention it as i dont recall reding it when i was doing the research before the swap.

p.s. i LOVE my locker :D

Did yours not come with a factory locker anyway?

Make sure the dash light has completely stopped flashing and doesn't continue to flash at all before giving it any jandall.

nah, no locker from the factory. must be one of the few jtops that didnt. i read bout your locker a while back and now that im running the smaller diffs ive already noticed that subconciously im being alot more careful how i drive. :lol:

jerry.. is mon a public holiday? if its not ill be working, if it is i may come out, but also wana go up odlins this weekend so ill have to get back to you. also jerry, do you want another rugger? dave is looking at buying a crusier so his will be for sale soon...
