went to thompsons today a rock hit the rod snapped it anybody got a spare for sale

Is that the lower trailing arm? (attaches bottom aof diff to chassis) or panhard?

its the panhard rod at the back of the diff,

Might be a couple of cheap ones on Trade Me at the moment, shouldn't cost much, but I would take it to an engineer and get it beefed up, and even made adjustable you are thinking of going for a higher lift in the future....

I've got one for sale. But like Dave said, get it strengthened as factory ones are just too weak. PM me if you want it.

thanks gpatrol, found one much to my supprise , cost $95 will get me mobile , have cut and channeled the old one for a rebuild then the boss gives me a job to do , bit of a pain thought my truck comes first.

The main reason for the breakage is my old safari is still std so the panhard is running horisontal so kinda in the way of rocks the diff rolls over
