Skid plate

would anyone be able to advise if there is a factory skid plate for LN130 surf????
or how easy is to create one???? :D

I had a heavy duty one made up here in Wellington, was about $180 I think.

Runs from the IFS cross member to the front edge of the chassis rails and it's very strong.

There are plastic and light steel factory versions available but neither are very strong.

i just made mine for my vitara just break out the grinder tape measure and welder and youl be right i think i made mine out of 5mm or maybe it was 10mm plate? :twisted:

10 mm would double the weight of your suzuki wouldn't it

haha yea i went out and had a look its 5mm but i overlaped it in the middle so its double thickness with welds top and bottom so its strong as :twisted: :D

Mine's 5mm with a 10mm frame around it and tabs off that for mounting.

I don't think you would need to go more than 5mm.
