Now iv got a few issues here.
4.0l 96 model, when i bought it i noticed the o2 rear sensor had been removed and didnt think much of it, went up the bush for a hunt and had alot of issues. Had heater on and we could smell like an electrical burning smell then jeep cut out. I spun asd and fuel pump relays to get it going again. Now its got a major misfire nd u feel like its guna stall sometimes? Iv read about asd and o2 sensors but the rear 1 has never been there nd it has run mint until now. Any ideas?

Not sure what asd is?
Sounds like same fault as mine that I tracked down to the crank position sensor

ASD is automatic shutdown relay. If your fuel pump relay was bad, it's now messing with automatic shutdown.

Rear O2 sensor, after cat converter, only tells the computer that the cat is working. It does not control fuel air mixture. That's the job of the front O2 sensor.

Are you sure some wiring hasn't shorted or burnt on hot exhaust?

Im come to the conclusion it must be the cps as it wont even start now, i had a good look and found that the wiring for the cps had been touching the exhaust. It had inculation around it but im pretty sure its stuffed as the jeep will crank but wont fire.
