Sure this has been covered but not having any luck finding the info.
What breed hilux chassis will fit my ln130 surf. I know there is one that requires body mounts to be moved but not too worried about that.
Cheers

There are two projects on here that spring to mind.
One was done by user shitty old hilux in Tauranga. If I remember correctly he did quite a good write up on the swap.
Second one was done by a guy on the north shore, I forget his user name. He ended up moving to Aussie and last I heard he had it in storage. Either one of these builds should turn up with a bit of a search.

Good luck

Jase.

Better to leave the chassis and just cut off ifs and add leafs.

Earlier beam axle surf fits under requires some work, but just beam axle it with leafs or coils, will work out the same price, and being coils rear if you coil front like i did it will ride so much better than cart springs

Throw an LN106 chassis under it.
You will get much better flex than doing an SAS on a KZN130 chassis. The IFS chassis is flat at the front where the suspension bolts on but LN106 is curved so you can have it sitting lower and you will also get more flex.

It is the early solid axle Surf chassis you are referring to, either LN or YN60.
The chassis is a direct swap except for 2 body mounts that need to be moved.

Cheers guys. I thought i read somewhere that a extra cab chassis would work. May have misread it.

As Smurf said. It needs to be LN or YN 60.
The 106 chassis wont work super easy due to the wheel base difference. 112" for the 106 and about 104" (from memory) for the surf.
