300 tdi electric fuel pump

My discovery 1 has developed an intermittent stalling problem. I have just replaced the fuel filter and it looks like there is another filter back under the chassis near the back. I will replace that too when I can. It has a Facet electric fuel pump which could also be a possibility. Is anyone else running an electric pump and if so, what type or model. There seems to be a lot of different types. The one I have is 5.5 to 9 psi. It was running this setup when i got it and has not been a problem up until now.
