3.2 pajero exhaust

climbed under my 3.2 exceed today and found the exhaust where it goes into the muffler,the welds have come away completely.

the rest of the exhaust is in good condition so will get it welded up tomorrow.

but was wondering, I it worth spending a bit more and getting a larger exhaust than factory, 2.5in?

any gains by doing this or stick with what I got and save money

Yeah worth doing. I'm sure there would be an off the shelf unit you can swap in. I fabbed up a real nice 3 inch exhaust for my 3.2 Terrano. Definitely gave it a bit more grunt, especially going up hills.
