Whats the advantages and disadvantages of coil spacers?
advantages- very cheap lift.
Disadvantages- there is debate as to whether it changes your effective spring rate. ie somehow a 30 mm spacer can give you a 60mm lift.(True story- happened to me, carefully measured before and after) Sometimes the spacer can dislocate under extreme flex(say a wd21 terrano with no rear sway bar), but generally cable ties can prevent this. Spacers that are the exact correct size for your vehicle will generally not dislocate.
