Hilux Surf - Rear Window Help

mine has stopped working from the switch within the cab..
anybody have any experience before i pull the whole thing to bits?
thanx in advance for any help given

Is it still working from the key in the back? if so or if not will help determine where the problem is.
Its not uncommon (mine stopped but just needed freeing up as it had been sitting) and the solution is not normally to hard.

Spray some contact cleaner on the switch if it still works from the key in the tail gate.

yeah the key works.. i'll give it a spray today and see what happens..

You can pull the switches apart and clean the contacts its normally a easy fix

such a small thing, but dang it's a pain in the ass getting out of the rig to do the window

ok help
i've got a kzn185, back window not workin aswell?
dose'nt work on switch or key.
just makes control box click?
is the control box pocked or is there something else?
plus wipper & back mirror no work?
all fuse are good?
any idears?

found this site a couple of years back, it's a really good site, 4-runners are the same as our surfs but with a different engine, here's the link to the rear window fix
