Suzuki Jimny M13A question bad #4 cylinder

Hi,
I have a 2007 Suzuki Jimny, type FJB43V with M13A factory engine, with manual gearbox.
The #4 cylinder has eaten it's spark plug the earth electrode is gone and the center electrode is gone, the spark plug was loose when I removed it and covered in carbon. I haven't removed the engine yet or the head yet so the cause and extent of the damage is unknown at this time. Pictures attached
This is what it sounded like https://photos.app.goo.gl/iqF48LXncA1kYYPK8
Would it likely be cheaper to replace the engine?
Would a Suzuki Swift M13A long block be a drop-in replacement?
If I relaced the engine with a M16A what else would I need to replace , ecu ? Could I use the existing gearbox.
Thanks
G
