piece of spaghetti where my drop link used to be

Post by tristanp »

so , a few months ago i straightened my drag link for a warrant of fitness and that straightened up real nice with a pipe bender - whats the go with a drag link, is it cast steel or forged? can i straighten it without it cracking? failing that , it cant be too hard to make one , pick up some replaceable threadded rod ends and get some heavy wall 3/4" pipe......

It can be straightened and then braced, but its alot of effort for something that will only bend again. We use a length of solid (4140 preferably) with female tie-rods ends from Nissan.

Left is 48520-01J10
Right is 48570-01J10

About $125 each.
