Maybe we should have a "What Broke" thread, that we can update every time we have a breakage  I'm sure we would all be regular contributors, my truck has a dead starter motor as of yesterday.

Scrub that idea, sounds too depressing

was going to come but only put my starter back in this morning , it got the $25 backyard rebuild ,instead of rebuilt exchange costing $$$$$. Main problem was slow cranking, prob was some of brushs/springs had siezed, prob only running on a couple of poles. pulled it apart after 250000km ,its in pretty good shape ,brushes 1/3 to half worn, with normal signs of deep river crossings. cleaned every thing up , including quick skim in lathe, new bearings on motor, didn't bother with new brushes, cleaned up solenoid contacts ,and slapped it back in, good for another 5 yearz... or till a vx l/cruza is parked in the garage instead. massive improvement , should have done it 2 months ago.

If its a diesel injector, go to DSL, its behind the big Beaurepaires by sockburn roundabout.

As for a petrol one, Im not sure, maybe call them and ask.

Speak to Mark.

Yeah, the top section that is usually a prob appears to have been fixed, it was a piece of cake.

Other than my upset (which was an optional track) it was a walk in the park.

It was very dry, the usual spot of mud 2/3rds up, but that was like 2 inch deep. We had had some light rain the night before so was a little cautious, but it had been a pretty breezey folowing day, so was all good.

You guys need to harden up a bit. In the photo you would be lucky if you were pulling 15 degrees of angle. Most standard rigs will go to 30 - 35 degrees quite easily.
They do tend to go on from 35 degree angles much easier though.

I can tell you that it was more than 15 degrees, the pic just doesnt show it. I was sitting vertically, and my left hand side was pushing on the center console quite considerably. Pity I didnt have my inclinometer in. Photos never do the situation justice.

It is worse than it looks, not gonna roll on that angle thoug but the truck is slowly slipping into a hole that would send it over

Its an optional track to the left, about 100 meters on the down side of the section where unless you are on 35's you go left. Track follows the fence on the left hand 'bank'

And Rokhound, everytime I tried moving forward, I actually went right, which was getting steeper, and closer to the drop off.

I tend never to look at my incline-o-meter when I'm sh!tting my pants (which is when it is most impressive)......but the other day I managed to chuck a quick look at it......the meter maxxes out at 30deg and the needle was well enough past that to have me concerned  so it's good to know what angle your truck will not tip at :D
