Toyota Surf Steering Relay Rod

Hey guys just wondering if any of you other surf owners recieved a letter from Toyota NZ in the last few days regarding your steering relay rod?

I got one today saying that i need to take my surf into toyota immediately to have the steering relay rod replaced free of charge because over time this rod may get a crack in it and fracture causing loss of steering :shock:

Anyone had any problems with this in the past? im going to get mine booked in asap
