Does it have coil springs in the front or torsion bars?
Torsion bars can be wound up alittle to gain height, or if its coils you can get slightly longer ones to gain height.

i think its springs if we are on the same track it has coil springs and shocks all round but on further inspection the part of the under side that was catching on the ruts is of a y shape on each side of the truck on the front only the bottom of the y attached to the wheel and the other two ends to the chassi where it was catching on the ruts so i do feel that to overcome this prob i either need to do some major work raising the truck, not try to follow bigger trucks or save up for something bigger stronger taller with more power and with a larger footprint should do it  but this will have to wait till i have some more money  mabe a unimog if they are sole cheep or a project truck like a LR 90 or range rover

It's a wishbone, why not put taller tyres on it?

did think of that but only got new mts last month and they are bout as big as i can fit without doing some bodywork to widen the mud guards i think as the new ones only just fit under the body now and a body lift will not help as they almost touch the frount and back of the guards too :?

If you want to play with the big trucks then you gonna have to spend some dollars... The IFS is always going to be your limiting factor. There are plenty of lift kits available in the states if you want to spend the dollars...

But you might just be better off trading it in for a full size at the prices they are charging. I am not aware of anyone in NZ doing them.

Don't get me wrong - I am not knocking the Suzi's they are great little machines and can go along way.
