Newbie from Scotland

Hello all,

Just arrived from Aberdeen in Scotland and am now living in New Plymouth on the north island.

Love offroading and my 'weapon of choice' are Land Rovers. I've just had to sell all mine in the UK unfortunately, but the wife has given me an 'allowance' of one Rangie! Very nice of her.

Looking for a good 2door Rangie if anyone has one?

Apart from that, looking forward to learning and swapping advice and making new offroad friends!

Cheers for now,

Hugo.

Hi there all,

Many thanks for the welcome! :D

I'll post some muddy pics of me and mates offroading as soon as I get internet at home set up. One thing Scotland isn't short of is rain and mud.

Turoa - yes definitely on the look out for a nice classic. Would prefer a two door, what have you got? 8)

Again, thanks for the welcome,

Hugo.

Not wanting to hijack this but I saw another G wagon in CHCH yesterday, Grey Metalic this time.

Greetings Fish13, welcome aboard ORE and NZ, hope you enjoy both :!: :!:

Welcome aboard!

Ummm A Good Rangie????? Thats like waving a red flag around here mate. Both sides will be gearing for war over that subject, both for and against.

Turoa, Don't try and flog that crapped out shitter to the poor guy!

It does have wof and reg, but it isnt up to wof standard. Trust me, you dont want to have to stuff around with it.

Look for a better one than the one ive got.

Hi Hugo,
Welcome to Kiwiland. Hope you enjoy our lifestyle. I lived North of Aberdeen for a while (Wife's from 'the Broch'). Enjoyed driving in the snow/ice when I lived there. Not much of that up North here....

Hi Skiwi!

Wife from the Broch eh? How does she find NZ?

Yes, can't say I'm missing the fact that they're under about a foot of snow at home just now!!!

People don't like folk from Auckland or something?
