G'Day from Australia

gday all

my name is markus and i live in perth Australia.
iv been 4wding for about 6 months and im learning heaps.
i try and get out as much as i can, i do heaps of camping and fishing pritty much anything outdoorish.

i drive a 93 ford courier duelcab ute.

Welcome to the forum Mr LEDFOOT, got any action photos of your vehicle on the trail mate?

What sort of tracks are you 4WDn on usually? do you get many like these?

I'm keen to hear how the 4wheelin is in Perth too, as we are consiering making a move there next year.

ive seen some of the footage of the lads from 3rdrock.. those vic boys go hard...

billyvanboheman- the tracks down here veary heaps, there are gravel powerline tracks, bush dune driving, forrest driving .

my car isnt in any of them pics but that just for yous to see what we have to offer.

heres my car in action, this hill an 80 Series landcruiser couldnt make it up an GU nissan Patrol couldnt make it up but my Ford courier made it up. this hill was like an S hill and it was so boggy.

DaveM- yeah mate is so nice over here, there are so many people that love 4wding, there are so many job offers around, its just a great city to live in.

You just had to go and say that, half this forum including me will probably be on the next flight over, especially after the crap summer we just had.

I've been 4wding 3 times in oz, once way down past nowra (south of sydney 2 hours) and twice on fraser island and um yeah its a bloody awesome place oz 8)

We are going to book a holiday there in June/July for a couple of weeks and have a look for a job, so will have to see if its worth throwing the old Hippo in a container or sell it if we decide to make the move.

Looks like good tracks following the powerlines too, be even better getting paid to drive them for work 8)

isn't nice to hear a little ford going where heavy trucks can't go , down side is that something will wear out or break if used hard offroad
