Mine still going fine at the moment (3b) been told that they mostly leak around the top throttle shaft, and can be fixed in place. or is it best to remove and full rekit/reset?( been quoted around $400, bare pump taken to shop) . never had one apart before, and interested as I'll say sometime in the future it will leak ,maybe when they bring in the final ultra low sulphur spec diesel. can you buy pump kits??

Hiya,

Seal's went on mine ( a rotary pump on a 3b). The top seal and a bunch of O rings were replaced without removing pump cost approx $100. That was about a year ago. I am in WGTN.

I was only asking cos it wasn't listed with your username. and my Father has a Diesel shop in Blenheim.

I will ask about how hard they are to do in place, and what a seal kits worth.

I know he only does them now when customers front up with the pump out of the vehicle.
