89 hilux running gear, Please help

ive been offered complete front and rear diffs(beam axles) hub to hub,drive shafts
and transfer box from a 89 hilux for my sj413 project for $700..... is this a good price????? :

I paid $400 for front and rears. I dont know what year mine were though. What ratio are they?

What do you mean v6 model? I didnt think hiluxs came with v6's. are you sure hes not trying to shaft you? They could be like the guy who sold me the stupid surf ive got and made it sound like they are solid diffs, but theyre not :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

keep in mind that if youg go spring over then you will have to fabricate a high steer set up.

See if you can beat him down a bit on the price

the $700 included drive shafts and transfer! that is pretty reasonable i would have thought!?

thats a fairly average price for the gear, not cheap but not dear either. a 413 with lux running gear is definatly the way to go mate, zooks are a pretty tippy sort of truck and the best thing to fix that is go wider, and with the extra lift and lower gears you can slap 35" tyres on it and go anywhere.

Theres one up here witha rover v8, 35's and coils, and that is very capable. Must be because of the low weight
