Have narrowed down staying in 4wd to the OFF VACUUM SOLENOID switch on the driver side firewall

Have to change pipes over to get it out of 4wd and then swap back etc

Anyone got a spare solenoid they want to exchange for beer tokens :?:

New part from Toyota (#85440 solenoid - front drive)

$966 ex Japan

Want to sell the top (disengage) solenoid :?:

We use some 24v vacuum solenoids on our Thermo-Formers - so have been looking though the solenoid book for something that we can butcher

I could be tempted...is it something that is likely to crap out??? I'd hate to sell this one and then have to buy one back.

But went to Plummer pneumatics and they have built up a 24v CKD valve set that should replicate the toyota valve for $142  :D
