having a bit of a problem
re kitted the the front and rear breaks all seem to b wrking good till i start the engine wen i cooect the vacume line to the booster the break peddle creaps towards the floor but wen i disconnect it they dont ???

Do u hav any fluid loss ?? I would suspect master cyln wat year is the vehicle ?? have you bleed the air out well . And are the calipers around the right way I have heard of them being installed on wrong side bleeders should be at the top ??

no fliud loss and everything ive fixed on the breaks is done properly only seems to creep wen the enigine is running ... could it b the vacume pump?

Does it just drop a bit then stop or drop all the way to the floor ?
A bit of a drop once the vacum comes on is normal .

no they go all the way 2 the floor

Well, there is only two possibilities.

You still have air in the brake lines. (Unlikely as it usually just causes a spongey brake pedal)

More likely the master cyclinder is toast.

Thats all it can be really, its a simple system

I think what you will find is happening, is that when you get the vacum assist once the engines running, its alowing you to apply more pressure to the system causing either the air to compress in the lines, or the master cylinder to start leaking.

Oh, there is one more posibility, does it have two fluid resivours on the master cyclinder??

That set up does funny things when one set of seals get tired. Either way, its still a new master cylinder required.

checkd mastercylender seems to b fine ... only 1 resivour no air in lines flushed right thru .. but will check master clyender again
