whats the next step

So now that I'm sticking with the 3y, whats the next mod i should be looking at for my truck? I was thinking tyres, but maybe a some tools for the truck, spade, strops etc?

just the truck, and basic mech tools. is there a list of equipment i should carry?

Im in the same boat ie just bought a 4WD, so far I have on my list, tyres, tow hooks, strops, shovel, fire ext.

Fire Extinguisher, First Aid kit and a couple of those survival blankets. Thats what I started with....


:lol: now you have a truck that could stand in for the local civil defence headqauters :shock:

I'd go with the above perhaps without the blankets( 8) I have dogs and bits of tinfoil all through me truck dosn't excite me...), next tow hooks (don't buy em unless they are rated and make certain they are fitted properly, or you could end up killing someone!!) a good snatchstrap ( don't buy super cheap here, there is a difference!!) and a shovel then look at making the truck bigger and better things like tires suspension etc

I was in Central when I kitted out... Its nice to have a blanket when your stuck in the mountains in a blizzard ;-) Not so necessary in canty though :)

PS: Glad to see your back and things have calmed down a little
