easter mud slinging ;p

 Rite so the plan is meet @ red rocks gate @ 10 am Monday the 9th of April, we will drive around the coast to Terawhiti Station spend the avo playing in Machine Gully (possibly say HI to the friendly Feilding 4x4 club guys) then once we are happy we have all covered ourselves in mud we go back around the coast, then you can either go home and be anti social or rock around to 'The Batch' A.K.A my house in Breaker Bay 4 a BBQ but i wanna no who wants to come and who wants to eat, just cause it makes my life easier  tech stuff = 10am high tide, 4pm low tide.
please make sure you all have your own tow strops cause we don't wanna stuff around with the tide, most of you will just drive it tho. jerry has asked me to say "tow hooks" oh and on a lighter note the chicken came second cause the easter bunny brought the egg

I think I'll try and get back from Auckland on Sunday night rather than Monday, so will let you know if we can make it.

You have already met me! You met me at Aotea one time, I was with my pregnant sister in law Ally. I had my two wee boys with me.

I can just see it now....a 5 hour wait in the convoy whilst these 2 discuss shopping and recipies....  ....if anyone dares to interupt.... "the look"

If you are going handbrake I hope you will be driving most of it    Gotta show Bubba that you can drive better than him.

Ha ha. Do we appear to be the sort of "ladies" that would be interested in discussing Shopping and Recipes?? :?

I will certainly be having a drive as we are hoping to get someone to look after our boys. The only reason I don't drive more is that I know I don't know that much about 4x4 driving and worry that I might do something dumb to endanger my kids! If they are not in the car, look out!

It sounded like it from the post above......I thought you were going to compare handbags next    (not the ones full of nails and bricks you beat people up with  )

Look its easy...when you get it stuck...just get out and tell Mark "its your truck..your problem" and tell him you want "your" truck back when its out....... ....and if you don't I can always lecture you about towhooks or something....

PS if Bubba gets in your way just drive over him

No, I guess it just means that if you get stuck, no one is obliged to tow you out.

ive never had proper tow hooks. dont have a hook at all on the rear. got an engineer friend of mine to make up an eye for a shackel on the rear, i dont ever see that coming off. im happy for other people to not tow me. if i wasnt comfortable with it i wouldt expect to be forced into it. i gota say tho... im pleased my front hook has stood up for this long. 4 years and some fairly large stresses have gone on it. and had a look today, not even a dimple of stress that i can see.

i guess i just wont get stuck if i come.

That's allright, can always hook a strop around the rear axle.
As long as it is not me who will be lying on their tummy in the mud to try and hook it on it is all good :D
