I say Aqua as well, if you cut less to start with you will only have to go back and do it properly later :!: :!:

Wheres the pink option?? Image

Im with Madaz. Go the Red (how the fark did you pick your colours bro?? ). Rather cut off a little then cut some more. Are you really going too be able too turn those tyres with your big block diesel??

Go the red and fill in some of the front. Assume you are going too run 35" max not those 37" (assuming thats what they are?? ) Keep it looking in proportion.... I reckon the gap at the front is too big now :?

Your beastie is lookin' tops Nib, just a side note, you can't get cert without a balance report on the modified driveshafts, circle track engineering will do it for ya
My vote is to RED line, Daddy told me never to go over red line, it's there for a reason :D
plus looks sexy Nibs

Put me down for the Red Line. Although it doesnt seam to go all the way down?

Thats the cut I`ll be doing - want to keep the curve in the back corner to retain some of the original style and for strenght.

hey nibs,

I don't know if you are using the same size wheels/tyres as rok.....but to me it looks like with the distance between the front of the rear guard and the tyre is massive........and so if you don't take much out of the rear of the rear guard to compensate it will just look silly......like you have mounted the wheel too far back on the springs.......

I vote the blue line.

why so little up-travel?

even tho i hate the look of it on that green truck

same, it looks sh!te.....like the rear axle should possibly be further towards the rear.

my 16c worth.

Go the Aqua Nibbs.

YOU NEED MORE HORSEPOWERS!!!!!!!!!! The big block 3.4 just aint gonna do it man. I have nigh on 190hp pushing those swampers, and it aint enough. 80 hp of hustling 3.4 sure aint gonna cut it. You need lots of grunty low end torque and quite a bit of HP as well. Gearing will only go so far man, and I think you may be asking a bit much. Just do it now, will save a lot of work in the long run.
Failing that, look at some of those smaller tyres (35's, 36's etc)

cmon Rok, any more than 35s on SPOA is gonna look like the hell mall cruiser....or is that what he wants :? 35" an fill in the guards at the front by how much you take outta the rear. Shit if you want more power I may do a deal of a quality brand 3.9V8

The red cut would be my opinion... then take the piece you cut, walk around the other side and fizz it on the front of the whel arch for a little balance :)

Its looking good... just hurry up or I'll bring the 9" round and give you a hand :D

I am sooooooooooo lucky, My better half was out this afternoon and spotted a 40 that had been raised and guards cut, it was done to about the red line area that Nibs had shown, and she said it looked unballanced, when you take into acount the lines of the front guard she reckons it would look better in the aqua area to balance the whole side.

Geeee she's great!!! 8)
