lake sumner

The trip into lake sumner tomorrow 15 April. So far 3 vehicles going. If anyone else interested meet us Smiths City carpark, Northwood before 7.30am leaving soon after. It should be quite spectacular with the fresh snow on mountains. Any queries my cell phone is 027 5 405 477

how did this trip go? did you go all the way up the hurunui river as well? is it still quite dry up there?

we went up to the swing bridge and then walked through to the hurunui hut made an interesting contact finding out how to go past the bridge and on to private land up the river bed ....... as to the river yes its low low enough for zuki to cross ...... last time i crossed by the swing it was deep enough to move the VX around the weather on sunday great
