Thompsons Track - Sunday 22nd

Post by nz4x4 »

I'm going to be heading down to Thompsons track this Sunday. If anyone wants to come I expect that I will be down there around 9 - 9:30. I am only doing the Hamilton side.

Anyone know the condition of the track?

Oh, simex ET's might make it an easy trip then. Will keep a look out for some spots on the side of the track to have a play in.

Hey Guys a few of us went up on Sunday gone got to the top(crossroads) in 2 wheel piss easy Mata mata side Katikati side is untouched and still in need of repair.

Got a few pics that might show how lame our day was!!!!

Biggest challenge would have been low cloud and NZ hunters hilux blocking the track!!!!!Ha Ha.

There is also a sign at the gate advising there will be 80-90 trampers up there this coming weekend.
