But not a certfiable change to the vehicle (I think, could be wrong) as it is just a part swap. And unless you know exactly what you are looking at not picked up at a road side stop either.

I am not advocating breaking the law here but merely pointing out how it could be interpereted to our advantage.

A part swap doesnt need cert does it? Whereas a reconfiguring of the chassis mounts and the front half of the drive train would. That is $400 bicks to be saved and spent on other goodies.

A question for the trials rules guys out there:

Can modifications be made to an A class truck like a diff swap if it still maintains the same basic configuration (ie solid rear and IFS front)?

I just thought in this day of SAS vitaras being expensive to make that a simple set of new axles might serve just as well, although you still have the matchsticks for shafts of course, but maybe the surf front could be used in entirity. Think of the ratios that would give as options and difflocks as well.
