Cheers for that, I think
It would make for a very long day, but then it would be the passenger carrying it around I could just sit in the truck and yell

i understand where theyre coming from i suppose.. less hassles and possible trouble with safety issues etc..
still, if they marked off areas of access for the public, could be a real money spinner, especially this close to town etc.. posibilities galore..
we'll see i suppose..

This is being run very similar and along the same lines as the Takitimu challenge hald in March in Southland. Mike came down and loved it - got 2nd then decided to have one.
For those a little doubtful about entering, have a go, it really is a fun event.
After the nerves disappeared on the 1st stage at the Taki one it really was fun, basically some challenging 4WDing courses involving bits for winching, fast driving etc. In the Big Boys class for our one, all had Simex, however only 2 of the clubmans had Simex, the others running MT type. Admittedly the stages were set up more for the agressive mud tyre, Simex, Mudzilla, Creepy's etc, with the others having more winching. The PTO's or 8274's were most popular due to line speed & grunt.
Hope this helps, and of course I could be completely wrong.....
