Sagging coils

Post by DaveM »

My EFS coils appear to have quite a sag in them now on the Safari, even though they haven't been in that long.

Had a quick measure up, and it seems the r/r is 1/2" low and the f/r is 2" low.
I'll have a proper measure up in the next day or 2, but when parked on level ground it is very noticable.

If they have sagged this much, am I better off to cut my losses and go back to Dobinsons? Not that keen on running coil spacers

Seems strange, truck has quite a lean on at the moment, but can't figure out what else could cause it :?
It hasn't even got a load at the moment you can notice how uneven it sits. Will have to check it out properly in the daylight I think

Get some OME springs, they aren't that expensive. I've been running my current set for around 2 years now, it's had death and you'll be lucky if it's sagged 5mm.

Cheers, Jeff

I cant run my shocks with a OME 4" lift as the coils are shorter, and I don't want to have to get shocks too.

If it is the coils, I'll have to get some Dobinsons from oz sent over
More $$$ I didn't want to spend
