Hi guys,
my old tetris block is in need of a new rear diff head.
It is a 1987 lwb VX cruiser. The diff ratio is 3.7:1 I believe. (the axle code on firewall is KO55.
The one in there is a 4 pinion lsd.
dont absolutely need an lsd cos they dont seem to do anything anyway but 4 pinion would be good cos it gets used hard
anyone got one?

i know a guy who has a few and may be willing to sell one, how much are you wanting to pay for it ?

ohh, can you double check the ratio of your diff please. just to be safe. if they were 4.1:1 then i could sell you the LSD that i will have spare soon.....

prob a couple hundred bucks if its in ok condition i.e no whining/grinding noises and ok backlash etc.. Will double check ratio tonight.

Yep its a 3.7.

K055 = 9.5 inch ring, 3.7 ratio, 4 pinion lsd.

ergh thats a gantor diff. last time I took it out I wasnt prepared for how much heavier it was than a suzuki or even a hilux diff, and I still have a dent in my chest.

sweet as man, will see if he hes a 3.7 and get back to you, probly ring him tomorrow so keep an ear out.

if he has got both lsd and open, what would you prefer ? and if its under 200 you want me to just get it ? open one should be bout 150 for a good cond one, dunno bout the lsd tho...

Off topic I know but... Curious - Why are you going to have a spare LSD head??? Locker back in the front?

Yeah 150 for a good open one is ok.
If he has a good LSD might pay 200.
