Description of tracks:
Kaingaroa Forest is one of the largest manmade forests in the Southern hemisphere. Lake Rerewhakaaitu Domain (base camp) overlooks the lake and towards Mt Tarawera only a stones throw away. Our trail will take you through some of the varied terrain that Kaingaroa Forest consists of and includes pumice/scoria hill climbs, axel twisting trails, a few ‘drop offs’ to keep you on your toes and generally some fun and adventure! These are trails that have never been used by 4WD’s before (not designed for ‘shiny’ trucks and WOF’s not required). You set your own pace and follow the arrows. This is a harder track than last year’s effort. All enquires welcomed.
