knocked this up in the last week gonna put it under the lux and move axle back a couple of inches
gonna run air shocks so no need for coils hopfully but if it doesnt improve the ride i might have to add coils too, also before the observant ones on here notice the short panhard ive got a loooong one now have spaced all mounts so should get heaps of travel
always been told keep it simple stupid, looks very simple and effective, 1 question, with the longer panhard ron in the rear will it still be on that angle or will it be running more paralel to the diff, mike at fully equipped in tga is going to be bringing those shocks in at a very good price i am told, 12,s 14,s and 16,s

You just may be able to make a decent rig out that thing of yours after all. Your absolutly abismal ramp showing at 4wd acc' doesn't happen to have anything to do with all this industrious activity does it
Keen to see the airbag spring set up though dude, looking good
Ugly is a state of mind..... and the state of my truck!

cant let a nissan pig beat me and im planning on giving that jeep a run for his money
Hi,
Looking good, will be doing something similar mysellf soon, just wondering if the top link is longer or shorter than the bottom ones. Should really be the same length or longer iff possible so that when the diff drops the pinion dosen't point down.
Tim
well had a day at it managed to get the old axle out and new one in all welded up just need to sort panhard rod and brakes then throw the wheels back on tomorrow then out for a test
no pics im afraid no batterys but steve got a couple when he popped up so hopfully hell post em
as for the fuel tank its in the tray so got heaps of room underneath now rik

The top links should be shorter, not longer... its all about anti-squat and keping the back end from hopping under load etc...
matwelli wrote:Why not triangulate the top link and ditch the panhard bar ? most 3 links I have seen are done this way.
just about done needs a lick of paint and a good twist up think it should have enough travel for the time being on the top pic i measured to the top of the tail gate from the floor 1850mm
