always been told keep it simple stupid, looks very simple and effective, 1 question, with the longer panhard ron in the rear will it still be on that angle or will it be running more paralel to the diff, mike at fully equipped in tga is going to be bringing those shocks in at a very good price i am told, 12,s 14,s and 16,s

Hi,
Looking good, will be doing something similar mysellf soon, just wondering if the top link is longer or shorter than the bottom ones. Should really be the same length or longer iff possible so that when the diff drops the pinion dosen't point down.

Why not triangulate the top link and ditch the panhard bar ? most 3 links I have seen are done this way.

Agreed, that is the way my 3 link is done and it twists up very well.

I'd post the pics but someone will complain, then someone else will refuse to apologise, then I'll stir, then the whole thread will be locked down...

Damn, buggered if I want to be blamed for all that... you'll just have to imagine what it looks like :P

I'd just rather not post a pic of a Hilux supported on a pile of old bricks and a couple of high-lift jacks with Rik lying underneath it all :P

I'll take some better pics of it later, or photoshop this one first...

It does look bloody good tho...

The top links should be shorter, not longer... its all about anti-squat and keping the back end from hopping under load etc...

Cos its actually a 4-link, not a 3-link...
