New to 4x4, wicked forum!!

Post by Dace »

Hi people

As the title says, new to this game

I have a 1989 hilux surf dblcab which i bought with a dead 2.8 diesel and replaced it with a late model 3l non turb diesel (thanks to Woody @ T-Parts)

It has after market mags and 31' kumhos but will soon be fittin some 33' Goodyear MTR's on Black desert rats

the truck I delieve is fairly standerd, just got front and rear bull bars but after a few trips and a training day with the CCVC (awesome experience, thanks to Steve and Paul, recommend to all in the Welly area) the truck seems very capable

Future planed mods include a rear diff lock and some front wheel area massage to fit the new rubber!

Any Pic's of your truck ?
There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance.
