New exhaust for GQ N/A options?

Have not quite enough saved for turbo upgrade yet.Need new exhaust for WoF.Can I get a 3" exhaust with some form of restriction so N/A will work OK,then remove restriction when turbo goes in?Any thoughts,tips?

I've got a mate with a std GQ that has a turbo exhaust even though he doesn't have a turbo. He swears by it.
