I need new rims for my bj70 landcruiser as with my 33's on the rims i have they rub on the chassis when flexing. I want to go for the biggest offset i can for stability (or is it the smallest? cant remember how that works, i want them to stick out lots anyway). what do you suggest? and where should i get them in chch?? Cheap is good

Cheers Mark Thrupp

When loking for mine I could only get 15x8 with -19 off set, or 15x10 with -44 off set, but ends up being the same amount of rim in the guard if that makes sense, can get several brands I got mangles for $50 each in 15x8 any more off set was told need to go custom, told big offset needs cert to be safe.

Cruiser rims are approx 3,1/4" backspace, this is the distance from the back edge of the rim to the face that bolts to the hub, most aftermarket rims are deeper than this , to cater for being able to fit Nissin and Toyota.
This can cause the tyres to rub on the inner guards.
