Wanting to get myself a hilift jack.

if you have a spare or can recommend the best place to get one from...

Where is general is the best place for recovery gear - pref in CHCH

You can get chinese one's or genuine USA hi-lifts. When I priced around I think 4wdbits had the best price for a genuine one.

go in george and henry on manchester st. i got my high lift for $95 when they were on special a while back, it is a powerbuilt one, and they have there big sale on at the moment so they should be a decent price.
toymota thats stock standard.

Depends on what you want. Chainman for all chain and wire rope and sundry equipment, the association does ropes through Hosehustler and 4wd Accessories in Montreal st does a good range of gear from basics to winches etc. Cookes aren't to bad but don't hav that 4wd focus.
