you wont find "cheap"suzukis on TM anymore.. If you want too get something cheap for a project, get a Trade & Exchange or Loot or what ever the local buy and sell paper is too you...

Got them on my watch list also.

Problem with the 410 (the reason I havent swooped at that price - well one of them) is to re-engine with 1300 or 1600 is a bitch. Not just a simple swap. The gearing isnt so easy to change as the newer versions (413 samurai). lighter weight axles, etc.

The 413 looks the part though as a tuff truck come play thing.

I would prefer to get a basic model and do all the cool panel bashing etc myself I guess.

I think I may lurk on TM for a while yet until the right bargain comes up or maybe I find one on TE, who knows - no time frame for me.

i´ve got a spare head which will bolt onto the 410 gives you 2 more horsepower than standard
the heads used on the sc100 had some minor tuning done to them i just happens to have 4 engines a little more than i need

another optione is this
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=97734202
has the same bolt pattern as th f series motors
my 4wd is not a truck

old mercedes never die but sometimes they do need some love
