Mt Greenland Access blocked???

Can anyone confirm that access has been blocked ( Huge Rocks across road) to Mt Greenland on the Westcoast. Anyone been there lately.

Can't be so :( , please no God :cry: . Someone please get out there and confirm as this is one of my favourite westcoast tracks.

far be it for me to suggest civil disobedience :lol: however, if someone has deliberately blocked the road - phone the police or the local council - it is a legal road as shown in blue in the pic

if they don't get them shifted - winch them out of the way - the laws governing roads are explicit and local councils can't bylaw around them.

Just called Ross Police to query this - he advised that as far as he is aware, there is no blockage etc on the road.

He was planning on having a walk up there this weekend, but it absolutely pouring down at the moment with a hell of a lot of water coming down. :x

He said that there were 3 trucks went up there a couple of weeks ago with no "real problems". As it is a council road, they would be onto it fairly quickly if there were any blockages etc.

So...sounds like it is all open :D

Well done guys.
Yes it is a legal road no doubt about that!
Pleased that you can get it checked out.
If the Police do find it blocked then they or some one should request the local council to keep it clear.
