Hiya......
From memory, (it was a long time ago before the hair went grey  ), it's a bit of a mileage thing. There's a wee rubber bung / plug on the intrument panel. Remove this and grap a paper clip, straighten it out and give the wee button behind the bung a push. Used to reset my VX Cruiser lights so might work.......
Good luckin

That button under the bung is to reset the counter that tells you when you are due to replace the timing belt.....dont press it unless you change it.

I had this happen 2 weeks ago, pull the bushes out of the alt.
They could be stuck up.
For me it was a combo of the bushes not touching quite right and the relay just inside the drivers guard being filthy.

I just looked for anything electrical, pulled it down and cleaned it.
Its a good way to learn, just remember to do one piece at a time and make the time to do it in one go.
The worst thing is leaving things apart and not remembering where it goes later on.

orange light bside turbo is the turbo overboosting, drill out wastegate hole an put new flap on or get a new actuator
