I have just purchased a 1990 Safari. The rear end sways side to side something cronic while on the road. More noticible with a bit of weight in the rear. The swaybar disconnect works, but there is a bit of play in the connections to the sway bar. Would this cause it? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Seems to be OK. The only movement is from the tyres. It seem to more like side to side body role then a straight side to side movement. It is rather unnerving and can happen even driving down the motorway.
