nissan navara td23 conversion to td27t

has any one done this conversion before?apparently its just a bolt in job just want your guys thoughts and problems you guys have had with this conversion?apparently all the td27t turbo gear will bolt straight on to the old 2.3 n/a aswell?any experience?

Will bolt in no worries. Step father did it to his (well, TD23 to TD27). Is yours column or floor shift? The column shift boxes are weaker than the floor shift, and the floor shift are weak as it is. Is yours 4WD? The 4wd Terrano/Navara Turbo boxes are beefier than the non turbo and are not to hard to swap over from memory (just bolt your housings to the sandwhich plate)
Big front mount IC, decent exhaust and intake and a boost increase and you'll be amazed at the difference

na mate iv already bolted all the td27t turbo gear on to my td23.just realise i have to blody tap the block now for my water and oil return lines.need advice on how to do it.

Or top mounted with a scoop on the bonnet? Asking as wondering about mud etc in front mounted.
Thinking of doing this on my TD27 sometime.
