ok, my 413 wont run after getting shit through it at rallywoods, so have changed filter, some rubber fuel lines and cleaned carby with clean-a-carb
and no change...... so today i bought a carby rebuild kit and a haynes repair manual........lots of little bits in the kit and instructions is a blury picture with no names of any of the bits??
the haynes manual is good but no detailed pictures of carb....
what im hoping is that someone on here has or knows where i can find detailed clear pictures of exploded carb view??

if you got the thing full of shit as my carb often does have you blowen all the passages out with compressed air to clear it out? When I had my carb rebuilt last month they had to put it through the acid bath to get the crap out :?

i hate to say it but if your not sure about what your doing it would be best to take it into a shop and get them to do it,ask if you can watch so next time you fill it with shit then have a go  the first time you will bugger something up but if you watch someone who knows what they are doing then you might be right the next time. and you WILL need compressed air. you cant clean out a carb without it

well then pull it apart ! get into it......

and dont loose any screws or tiny little ball bearings that live under the accelerator plunger or tiny clips that you need to take out to get it all apart and be carefull not to blow air down the wrong holes untill you have it totaly stripped or you may hear the tiny little parts bouncing accross the floor never to be found again. . . . . . .

and im serious, do it but just be careful  you dont need pictures, just pull it appart

always best to pull them apart, clean them out and put them back together all in one go before you forget which way round all the bits went

I took my holley into a place in in Vivian St last month and he was f*****g expensive and he's changed the float level so it floods easier now :?

the last guy that rebuilt it was an ex hotrod guy out at trentham army workshops and he was real cheap and did a A1 job on it :P

just crew your floats down a bit untill the level is under the side plugs on the ends of the float bowls  i have set mine to be about 2mm under the hole, seems pretty good so far.

Yeah, what he said, holleys are an easy fix on the float level problem... just loosen the screw at the top, and wind the nut under it up or down until it's right  But on that subject, my floats (both friggen sides!!) keep "adjusting" themselves back up..... Ever seen that before Wopass? I've asked a couple of guys, no-one seen them do that before.....

yeah I havent played around with the float levels yet coz holleys scare me but they've got to be up too high. The carb used to be awesome after the first guy set it up, I know who I'll take it back to next time for a clean out and rebuild.

I might have to put saturday aside too

after stripping mine not ever having anything to do with them before i would say they are aneasy carb to play with, havent gotten into tuning it prepperly yet but easy to fiddle with, especially the floats, screw and lock nut on the top of each float bowl. drain the float bowls, screw the floats down quite a lot and then start it and wind them up untill the fuel level is just below the check hole in the side, lock the nut up again and do the same to the other bowl and your done  . do you have the spill over tube in yours ?......

thread jacking here, sorry ryan

Doh, I'm a bit late, but if you want a good workshop manual for the zuk, and have a decent broadband connection, then download this one:

http://www.suzukiinfo.com/sierra/zukboysfsm.zip

Its 350 Mb, but its worth it. Its the factory Suzuki workshop service manual (FSM).

Its got everything including carb / gearbox / diff / engine rebuild information.
