Has anybody tried these, im looking at getting some and just wanted to know the good and the bad about them. Also looking at Bridgestones mud tyre as I have a mate there who always gives me a good discount.

Anyone tried either of these tyres

Thanks in advance!

I don't want to sound like a whinging dickhead and you probably don't have tyres that big anyway, but do you think of the other track users out there who have to try and get through your 40/44" ruts. A lot of clubs have a 33" max rule for good reason.
I'm not moaning, just curious to know how you see this issue ???

Its not the tyres but the person behind the wheel that causes the damage... but that conversation is for another thread...

skid, the hiriklux is alright. He uses big tah's to get over them thar rocks down there. I dont think there are very many tracks down there where big tahs will make a difference. Its mostly rivers and rocks.

Your right, i dont have tyres that big, but they are not far off.

But i agree with wjw, its the person behind the wheel that does the damage not the tyres.

A lot of clubs have a 33" rule because they ascribe to such politically correct mythology as you are perpetuating here. Do some informed research Skid (don't be conditioned by the 'thought Police' ), and then review the evidence behind your perception.

will let you know how they go but i wont get to use them for a month   as for making the tracks to deep i think its the smaller tyred vehicles that do it trying to get through flat out all wheels spinning and rocking from side to side on the diffs as they go through and as bill stated there more for the rocks probably stick to the 35 s in mud make it more of a challenge following the train tracks

What's so stupid about that? If you have a rig that is capable of running tyres that big ....go for it. Why should people give a shit what other's think. As long you are responsible in using them (ie tread lightly). Chances are pretty good that if you are running tyres that size, you are not going to want to go wallowing around in the mud and slop like everyone else seems to want to do, you will hooking into far more techniacl stuff. Bring them on I say :D

big tyres are way cool..

i think a lot of guys get 'anti big tyres' cos their vehicle cant run them or they cant afford em? perhaps misinformation is the problem?

i like big tyres and want to get a decent set of feet for the 40 when the time comes..

imagine the 54" boggers crawling over rocks.. beasty!

one day the time will come where these tyres will be around and be put to use, so i think bring that shit awn!!

then again, that crazy pom and his spethal fwiend in brighton have 40's.. we're all fecked! it'll be an interesting show thats for sure...
