Just looking for suggestions/ideas here;

While out on the weekends trip down the Ashley, I had a little trouble when we were in the Ashley Track area. Actualy this has happend each time I have been here.
The truck seems to get very sideways rather easily with little effort when in the mud and ruts (read small ruts here) with the rear end swinging to the left each time this has occured.
Also steering seems to be an issue too as it does not seem to want to pull in the direction I want it to.
This is a 2.7 auto Terrano with Savero Mud Terrains on it and in high 4wd.
I am wondering could this simply be a case of it not having LSD front or rear and just opposite wheels spinning when in this situation? Would this explain why it gets sideways so easily?
If I am correct, should I look at say LSD front and rear or LSD front and a locka in the rear?
What do you think, suggest?
Am quite open to all suggestions here.

I am also seriously thinking of a body lift and 33" feet under it around the end of the year too. (Might also help keep a little more water out of it too but thats another thread)

Sounds like you got an interesting problem there pete. The fault could be caused by what you say. Its not skipping into another gear and spinning out is it?? It could be a trans fault. Or is it while just cruising in the same gear??

Just cruising in same gear, lowish speed and very little throttle, ie. im not giving it the jandal. Just normal driving as you do when following in convoy along a greasy trail.

Yeah mate I would say it's because of no LSD. I had a Pajero that did this every now and again in the exact same condition as you say. Wasn't bad for the vehicle, it just meant that you had to stay alert while driving over something slippery.
