He He all good fun

Slippery on the track, and the water up by the Okuku is deep :D

Truck is sitting outside all open trying to dry out. All three truck have water in places it shouldn't be.

Photos and better report to follow when I get hold of the photos.

Tell me about it, mine had the same problems last weekend, and it still has water in it. Think the last of it has capillaried up some wiring looms. Still I have exposed some of them to allow better drainage.
Why dont they make 4x4 floors flat with a drain area and keep all wiring etc up high and dry?
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.

Why don't you get a job in the design department of some 4x4 factory?

Mine just has wet carpets. The Mu that was with us is dry inside but has electric issues with alternator and all dash lights on. Philux was smart enough to have no carpets but both his front seats and some of the rear seat are wet!

This is the only photo I have so far - Taken on a cellphone

Philux taking swimming lessons

Image

This is taken about 100m up the Okuku from where it meets the Ashley. He was meant to be exiting onto the shingle at the point just above his tailgate, but water does funny things when its that deep.

Engine ticked over nicely the whole time. Good to hear nothing suffered too much Phil.

We pulled him out and went bush instead until we found a better crossing where the river was split in a few different streams.

A few weeks ago when Al, Hosehusler, Leithfield, Moo and myself went up here we didn't even have to think about where to cross. But this photo was taken on a second attempt, Just before Phil went in here I had attempted a little down stream andlost traction and started getting swept a little but managed to back out.

Deep down we enjoyed the deep spots! :D

Saw a few other trucks on the track, some seemed to be turning back.
